Job summary

Centurion seeks a Dental Assistant for Centralia Correctional Center in Centralia, Illinois, to work under the Dentist and/or Dental Hygienist in a correctional setting. Schedule: Mon-Thu, 7am–5pm.

Must have a high school diploma or GED, and a dental assisting program or six months' experience. License or ability to obtain a Dental Assistant license is required; expanded duty certification is preferred, with first-year certification if not already held.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• Technical school program in dental assisting or six months of experience.
• Dental Assistant license or ability to obtain.
• Certification as an expanded duty dental assistant preferred; if not, must be obtained in the first year of employment.
• Must show/obtain PPD tuberculosis screening documentation.
• CPR certification current is required.
• Ability to obtain security clearance, including drug screen and background check.

We are currently seeking a Dental Assistant to join our team at Centralia Correctional Center in Centralia, Illinois.The Dental Assistant works under the direct supervision of the Dentist and/or Dental Hygienist in chairside dentistry in a correctional setting.
