Job summary

Centurion is seeking a Full-time Dental Assistant to join the Logan Correctional Center team in Lincoln, Illinois. The DA works under the Dentist and/or Hygienist, in chairside dentistry within a correctional setting, handling radiographs, instrument care, and patient support.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, plus a dental assisting program or six months of experience; license or ability to obtain one is required. CPR and TB screening must be current.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a technical school program in dental assisting or six months of dental assistant experience.
• Dental Assistant license or ability to obtain one required; expanded duties cert preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments.
• Maintain and operate the dental operatory.
• Operate radiographic equipment.
• Handle administrative tasks as needed.

We are currently seeking a Full-time Dental Assistant (DA) to join our team at Logan CC in Lincoln, Illinois.The Dental Assistant works under the direct supervision of the Dentist and/or Dental Hygienist in chairside dentistry in a correctional setting.
