Dental Assistant
Spring View Dental Care is looking for a Dental Assistant to join our team.

- Full-time; Tuesday-Friday 7:45-5:00; potential to work half days on Mondays as needed; no weekends!
- Flexibility required as we are growing and adding a new Doctor.

Experience
- 1+ years of experience as a dental assistant preferred; ability to train a newly graduated dental assistant.
- Experience with Dentrix or other dental software.
- Dental assisting school certification and/or Expanded Functions preferred.
- Must be a self-starter.
- Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
- Experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Access to minimum PHI necessary for job functions; regular HIPAA training required; must protect PHI and maintain data safeguards.

More about the role
- Greet and welcome patients, ensuring their comfort and providing education throughout treatment.
- Review patient health history for quality care.
- Take and process x-rays and diagnostic assessments (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography, etc.).
- Provide chairside assistance during procedures in accordance with state dental practice laws.
- Use Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
- Prepare treatment rooms following safety protocols and OSHA & CDC guidelines.
- Manage supplies and inventory, place orders as needed.
- Collaborate with team to implement systems and optimize workflow.

- Availability for periodic training sessions.
- TB test required prior to employment, arranged during pre-employment (not applicable in FL & TN).
