Job summary

Forest North Dental is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our private practice in Lake Bluff, IL. The role involves welcoming patients, assisting the doctor, preparing operatory rooms, and supporting hygienists. You will help maintain a sterile, efficient clinic and stay updated on dental technologies.

Requirements include at least 1 year of experience and the ability to take radiographs. Preferred certifications for coronal polishing or sealants are a plus, along with a warm, friendly demeanor.

• Ability to take xrays.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and guide them to the appropriate treatment room.
• Assist the doctor during exams and procedures.
• Prepare hygiene operatories before and after patient appointments.
• Assist hygienists chairside as needed during hygiene procedures.
• Maintain knowledge of existing and emerging dental technologies.
• Monitor and manage lab materials and supplies.
• Build trusting, positive relationships with patients.
• Follow all OSHA/HIPAA protocols.
• Clean, sterilize instruments, and prepare treatment rooms.
• Take, expose, and mount high-quality dental radiographs.
• Support team goals and daily practice efficiency.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and secure clinical environment.

• Monday: 7:30am -6:00pm
• Tuesday: 7:30am -5:00pm
• Wednesday: 7:30am -5:00pm
• Thursday: 7:30am -6:00pm
• Friday: 7:30am -2:30pm
• Saturday: OFF
• Sunday: OFF

Required Qualifications:
