Job summary

CHOICE Healthcare Services is seeking a Dental Assistant to support dental care delivery in our Arizona clinic. The role involves preparing treatment rooms, assisting the doctor during procedures, taking x-rays, and educating patients on oral hygiene to support high-quality pediatric dental care.

The position requires Arizona X‑Ray certification and current BLS, with preferred Arizona Sealant and Coronal Polish certifications; related experience may be considered.

• Education and/or Experience: Certification from a dental college OR 3–6 months related experience and/or training OR equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred

Responsibilities

• Assists the doctor in procedures
• Takes x-rays
• Takes IO's
• Assist in Prophylaxis cleaning of teeth
• Instructs patients on oral hygiene
• Charts cavities and teeth with doctor
• Sterilizes instruments
• Sets up/breakdown and prepares rooms for treatment/hygiene
• Charting of patient's treatment and treatment plan with doctor

Dental Assistant

Summary: The Dental Assistant supports dental care delivery by preparing treatment rooms, patients, instruments, and materials; passing instruments and materials; performing procedures in compliance with the Arizona dental standards.
