Job summary

Palm Harbor Prestige Dental in Palm Harbor, FL is seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our private practice. You will welcome patients, assist the doctor, and maintain a clean, efficient operatory.

Responsibilities include radiographs, instrument sterilization, and ensuring patient comfort while following OSHA/HIPAA protocols in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of dental assisting experience.
• X-ray certification is required.
• Strong knowledge of general dentistry.
• Eaglesoft experience is a plus.
• Team-oriented and patient-focused.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and guide to the treatment room.
• Assist the doctor during exams and procedures.
• Maintain knowledge of dental technologies and lab supplies.
• Take, expose, and mount dental radiographs.
• Ensure OSHA/HIPAA compliance in daily practice.
• Sterilize instruments and prep treatment rooms.

Schedule

You’ll be thrilled to know — NO WEEKENDS!

• Monday: 7:15am – 6:00pm
• Tuesday: 7:15am – 6:00pm
• Wednesday: 7:15am – 6:00pm
• Thursday: 7:15am – 6:00pm
• Friday: As needed
• Saturday: OFF
• Sunday: OFF

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and guide them to the appropriate treatment room
• Assist the doctor during exams and procedures
• Maintain knowledge of existing & emerging dental technologies
• Monitor and manage lab materials and supplies
• Build trusting, positive relationships with patients
• Follow all OSHA/HIPAA protocols
• Clean, sterilize instruments, and prepare treatment rooms
• Take, expose, and mount high‑quality dental radiographs
• Support team goals and daily practice efficiency
• Maintain a safe, clean, and secure clinical environment

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of Dental Assisting experience
• Strong knowledge of General Dentistry
• X‑ray certification (required)
• Experience with digital scanning/CEREC (a plus!)
• Friendly, dependable, team-oriented, and patient‑focused
• We use Eaglesoft as a dental software, experience a PLUS!
