We are seeking a passionate, skilled Dental Assistant to join our thriving team at Norwalk Dental Associates.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Providing seamless chairside support to dentists using efficient four-handed dentistry techniques
  • Preparing treatment rooms meticulously, ensuring all instruments and equipment are clean and sterilized
  • Breaking down and resetting treatment rooms after procedures, returning instruments for sterilization
  • Organizing and setting up procedure trays according to patient charts and treatments
  • Participating in daily team meetings and reviewing schedules to anticipate the doctor's needs
  • Greeting, seating, and screening patients, effectively communicating patient concerns to the doctor
  • Taking alginate impressions, pouring and trimming models, or scanning with the iTero scanner
  • Capturing diagnostic images, including PA, bitewing, panoramic, and 3D/CBCT x-rays as needed
  • Ensuring operatories are well-stocked and organized to support efficient patient care
Requirements:
  • Exceptional customer service skills with warmth, empathy, and positive energy
  • Previous experience as a dental assistant with a strong clinical support background
  • Current certifications in Radiation Health & Safety and Infection Control (or willingness to obtain promptly)
  • A growth mindset with eagerness to learn, adapt, and improve
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Team-oriented spirit and a genuine desire to contribute to a supportive, patient-first culture
