CHOICE Healthcare Services is seeking a Dental Assistant in North Las Vegas, NV. You will support dental care delivery by preparing treatment rooms, patients, instruments, and materials, and by passing instruments and materials under Nevada standards.

The role includes taking x-rays and intraoral exams, and assisting with prophylaxis cleaning.

Qualificações

• Certification from a dental college OR 3–6 months related experience and/or training OR equivalent education/experience preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assists the doctor in procedures.
• Takes x-rays.
• Takes IO's.
• Assists in prophylaxis cleaning of teeth.
• Instructs patients on oral hygiene.
• Charts cavities and teeth with doctor.
• Sterilizes instruments.
• Sets up/breakdown and prepares rooms for treatment/hygiene.
• Charts patient treatments and plans with doctor.

Conhecimentos

Bilingual in Spanish

Formação académica

X-Ray Nevada certification

BLS certification

4-hour Infection Control certification

Overview

Dental Assistant

Summary: The Dental Assistant supports dental care delivery by preparing treatment rooms, patients, instruments, and materials; passing instruments and materials; performing procedures in compliance with the Nevada dental standards.

Pay Range:$14.90 to $19.38 (based on expereince)

• Assists the doctor in procedures
• Takes x-rays
• Takes IO's
• Assist in Prophylaxis cleaning of teeth
• Instructs patients on oral hygiene
• Charts cavities and teeth with doctor
• Sterilizes instruments
• Sets up/breakdown and prepares rooms for treatment/hygiene
• Charting of patient's treatment and treatment plan with doctor

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience:

• Certification from a dental college OR three to six months related experience and/or training OR equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred
• Bilingual in Spanish is preferred

Required Certificates or Licenses:

• X-Ray Nevada certification or affidavit
• BLS certification
• 4-hour Infection Control certification
