Job summary

Hoffman Dental Care in Michigan is seeking an entry-level Dental Assistant to support the hygienists and welcome patients in a friendly, patient-first environment.

This role offers a supportive team, a 4-day work week with no weekends, and benefits including PTO, 401(k) with match, and health coverage. New grads welcome; X-ray license is a plus; experience with Dentrix or Eaglesoft is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and get them situated in the treatment room.
• Assist the Hygienists in providing care.

• Take, expose, and mount dental radiographs.
• Contribute to team goals and business objectives.
• Maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.

Schedule

You will be thrilled to know that we work 4 days per week, and NO WEEKENDS!

Monday 7:30a-6p 60 min lunch

Tuesday 6:30a-1p no lunch

Wednesday 6:30a-5p 60 min lunch

Thursday 6:30-1p no lunch

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and get them situated in the appropriate treatment room.
• Assist the Hygienists in providing care to the patient.
• Follow all OSHA/HIPAA guidelines.
• Clean and sterilize instruments and prepare treatment rooms as needed.
• Take, expose, and mount high quality dental radiographs.
• Contribute to the team in achieving business objectives to accomplish goals.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for patients and team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Xray license a PLUS! (not required)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Dental Softwares as Dentrix, Eaglesoft or similar dental softwares, is preferred.
