More about the role
  • Greet and welcome patients, ensuring their comfort and providing education throughout treatment
  • Review patient health history to ensure quality care
  • Take and process x-rays and other assessments (e.g., iTero 3D scanner, digital photography)
  • Provide chairside assistance (i.e., four-handed dentistry) during procedures in accordance with state dental practice act
  • Use Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping
  • Prepare treatment rooms following safety protocols and OSHA & CDC guidelines
  • Manage supplies and inventory, placing orders as needed
  • Collaborate with the team to implement systems and maximize workflow

About Family Dentistry at Riverside Crossing

Our office is located off Hammett Bridge Road next to Orangetheory Fitness. We are a growing, collaborative, and community-focused team of 10, providing a fun and hardworking atmosphere.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
  • Experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment
  • Dental assistant and/or x-ray certification as required by state law
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to protect PHI and complete HIPAA training as per role requirements
Preferred Experience
  • 1+ years of dental experience
  • Experience with Dentrix or similar software
  • Dental assisting certification
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to perform duties with or without accommodations
  • Prolonged sitting and standing
  • Ability to lift up to 45 pounds
  • Availability for periodic training sessions
  • TB test required prior to employment, excluding FL & TN
