Job summary

Main Street Children's Dentistry and Orthodontics in Forest Hill, MD is hiring a Dental Assistant for a part-time role. You will support the clinical team, prepare treatment rooms, and assist dentists with procedures while maintaining patient comfort and high standards of infection control.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Support: Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures.
• Patient Care: Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Radiography & Diagnostics: Take and develop X-rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow workplace regulations.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including scheduling and patient intake (if needed)
• Helps dentist manage dental and medical emergencies by maintaining CPR certification, emergency drug and oxygen supply, and emergency telephone directory.

Main Street Children's Dentistry and Orthodontics is looking for a Dental Assistant in Forest Hill, Maryland to assist our clinical team by providing a high level of patient care and satisfaction while operating in a team-based environment.

Position Overview:As a Dental Assistant you are an integral part of care team in providing support to the office and assisting the professional dental staff with treatment.
