Job summary

Woodside Family Dental in Minnesota is seeking a friendly Dental Assistant to welcome patients, assist the doctor, and prepare treatment rooms. You will maintain a smooth back-office flow and follow OSHA/HIPAA guidelines in a no-weekends schedule.

• Monday 7:00am - 4:00pm
• Tuesday 7:00am - 4:00pm
• Wednesday 7:00am - 4:00pm
• Thursday 7:00am - 4:00pm
• Friday OFF
• Saturday OFF
• Sunday OFF

Responsibilities

As a Dental Assistant you will be responsible for the following (not limited to):

• Welcome patients and get them situated in the appropriate treatment room.
• Assist the doctor in providing care to the patient.
• Be knowledgeable of existing and emerging technologies and clinical initiatives that impact the back-office experience.
• Actively monitor lab materials and supplies.
• Develop a relationship with the patient.
• Follow all OSHA/HIPAA guidelines.
• Clean and sterilize instruments and prepare treatment rooms as needed.
• Take, expose, and mount high quality dental radiographs.
• Contribute to the team in achieving business objectives to accomplish goals.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for patients and team.

Qualifications

• Welcoming new grads or those with experience working as a Licensed Dental Assistant
• Knowledgeable of General Denistry is a plus but open to a specialty background
• LDA license is required
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
