The Healthcare Connection is seeking a Dental Assistant with a professional demeanor and outstanding customer service skills. You will work closely with the Dentist and other staff to ensure a comfortable, positive patient experience. Your role includes preparing the operatory, assisting with forms, and supporting various dental procedures.

Responsibilities include:

1. Providing active chairside assistance to the Dentist, Dental Hygienist, and/or EFDA as needed
2. Recording exam findings
3. Monitoring and recording sterilization cycles, following infection control protocols
4. Maintaining supply inventory
5. Managing patient flow in the clinic
6. Supporting various dental procedures as needed

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED
• Ohio Radiographer’s license
• Certification in Dental Assisting or on-the-job training
• Ability to manage infection control per OSHA, CDC, ADA standards
• Strong communication skills with diverse populations
• Current CPR certification or ability to obtain
• Solid organizational skills
• Ability to learn and use electronic dental record systems
• Willingness to accept guidance and supervision
