Job summary

Kids Dental Brands in Burlington, NC, is hiring a full-time Dental Assistant to support dentists in a kid-friendly clinic. You will work on-site, chair-side with dentists, take x-rays, sterilize instruments, and help with minor lab tasks to ensure smooth patient care.

No prior experience is required, but you must have Dental Assistant certification. Additional X-ray or nitrous certifications are a plus. Salary starts at $17–$23 per hour with potential increases.

Qualifications

• CDA or RDA certification required.
• X-ray certification is a plus.
• No experience required but must have dental assistant certification.

Responsibilities

• Work chair-side with dentists, perform patient care, and general laboratory duties
• Take and process dental radiographs (x-rays)
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
• Take impressions of the patient's teeth (models), extractions, composite fillings, etc...
• Teach patients appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health
• Ask about the patient's medical history and take blood pressure and pulse
• Help patients feel comfortable before, during, and after dental treatment
• Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures

Summary of Essential Job Functions

Compensation and Schedule

• Salary:Starting at $17.00-$23.00depending on certifications. Additional increases for experience
• Bonus Pay:up to $600 additional per month
• Schedule:On-site. Monday - Friday
