Job summary

Kids Dental Brands in Ohio is seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant for a full-time, on-site role in our Cuyahoga Falls office. You will support dentists chair-side, take radiographs, prepare and sterilize instruments, and help maintain patient comfort and safety.

No prior experience is required, but you must have a Dental Assistant certification. Certifications such as X-ray, Sealant polishing, and Nitrous are a plus as we foster growth and professional development within a kid-friendly practice.

Qualifications

• No previous experience required but must have Dental Assistant certification.
• Certifications required: CDA or RDA.
• X-ray certification; Sealant polishing & Nitrous certification is a plus.
• Full-time role at a kid-friendly dental office in Cuyahoga Falls, OH.

Responsibilities

• Work chair-side with dentists and perform patient care.
• Take and process dental radiographs.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
• Take impressions of teeth; assist with procedures.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Record medical history and monitor vital signs as needed.
• Help patients feel comfortable before, during, and after treatment.
• Provide aftercare instructions following procedures.

Summary of Essential Job Functions

• Work chair-side with dentists, perform patient care, and general laboratory duties
• Takeand processdental radiographs (x-rays)
• Prepareand sterilizeinstruments and equipment
• Takeimpressions of the patient's teeth(models), extractions, composite fillings, etc...
• Teachpatients appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health (e.g., tooth brushing, flossing, and nutritional counseling)
• Askabout the patient's medical history and take blood pressure and pulse
• Helppatients feel comfortable before, during, and after dental treatment
• Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures

Compensation and Schedule

• Salary:Starting at $22.00-$27.00depending on certifications. Additional increases for experience
• Bonus Pay:up to $600 additional per month
• Schedule:On-site. Monday - Friday
