Job summary

Kids Dental Brands seeks a full-time Dental Assistant for our Midland, TX office to join an upbeat team focused on providing compassionate care for children in a modern, kid-friendly facility.

You will work chair-side with dentists, take x-rays, prepare and sterilize instruments, and support patient education. CDA or RDA certification is preferred; x-ray certification is a plus; minimum 2 years of dental assisting experience is preferred. Monday–Friday, on-site.

• Full-time schedule: Monday–Friday

Responsibilities

• Work chair-side with dentists, perform patient care, and general laboratory duties
• Take and process dental radiographs (x-rays)
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
• Take impressions of the patient's teeth (models), extractions, composite fillings, etc...
• Teach patients appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health (e.g., tooth brushing, flossing, and nutritional counseling)
• Ask about the patient's medical history and take blood pressure and pulse
• Help patients feel comfortable before, during, and after dental treatment
• Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures

Summary Of Essential Job Functions

Compensation And Schedule

• Salary: Starting at $18 depending on certifications. Additional increases for experience
• Bonus Pay: up to 300 additional per month
• Schedule: On-site. Monday - Friday
