Job summary

Kids Dental Brands is seeking a Dental Assistant for our Gulfport, MS office. You will work on-site with dentists, perform patient care, radiographs, and instrument sterilization in a kid-friendly setting.

No prior experience required beyond a valid Dental Assistant certification; positions are full-time with opportunities for growth. Competitive compensation starting at $13.00 per hour, additional increases based on certifications and experience, plus bonus potential up to $600 monthly.

Qualifications

• CDA or RDA certification required.
• Dental Assistant certification required.
• X-ray certification and nitrous certification are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work chair-side with dentists, perform patient care, and general laboratory duties.
• Take and process dental radiographs (x-rays).
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
• Take impressions of the patient's teeth (models), extractions, composite fillings, etc.
• Teach patients oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health.
• Inquire about medical history and monitor blood pressure and pulse.
• Help patients feel comfortable before, during, and after treatment.
• Provide post-treatment instructions for home care.

Summary of Essential Job Functions
