Job summary

CHOICE Healthcare Services in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a Dental Assistant to support dental care delivery by preparing treatment rooms, patients, instruments and materials, and by passing instruments during procedures in accordance with New Mexico standards.

The role involves taking x-rays and IOs, assisting the doctor, instructing patients on oral hygiene, charting treatments, sterilizing instruments, and helping set up and break down treatment rooms.

Qualifications

• Certification from a dental college OR three to six months related experience and/or training OR equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred

Dental Assistant

Summary:The Dental Assistant supports dental care delivery by preparing treatment rooms, patients, instruments, and materials; passing instruments and materials; performing procedures in compliance with the New Mexico dental standards.
