Job summary

The candidate will collaborate with the team and leadership to drive improvements in the Revenue Cycle, leveraging basic health insurance knowledge and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, or 2+ years of relevant working experience in lieu of the education.
• 0-2+ years of working experience in healthcare, health insurance, finance or customer service.
• Working knowledge of health insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist in account review of denied insurance claims and account follow-up within a healthcare revenue cycle environment.
• Review denied or unpaid insurance claims, identify denial reasons, and perform timely follow up with patient’s insurance to ensure accurate claim processing and payment.
• Work closely with team, leadership, and client to work on opportunities to improve within the Revenue Cycle.
