Veit is seeking a Superintendent for the Demolition & Blasting team, based in Rogers, MN or New Berlin, WI, with 25–75% travel. The role manages daily site activities, safety, budget, and schedule, directing lead personnel and staff on each project.

The ideal candidate has 5–10 years of heavy industrial demolition experience and relevant safety certifications. Travel, union status, and strong communication are required.

Qualifications

• Five to ten years of heavy industrial demolition experience.
• OSHA 30 hour, HAZWOPER, Excavating Safety Training, Blueprint Training, CPR, First Aid credentials.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret policies, reports, plans and specs.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel; plus mobile devices.
• Strong communication and scheduling skills across all management levels.

Responsabilités

• Oversee daily site activities to ensure safety, design alignment, budget and schedule.
• Directly manage lead personnel and field staff on each project site.
• Schedule and supervise subcontractors; monitor progress and quality.
• Maintain safe work environment and enforce safety procedures and policies.
• Prepare and participate in project meetings and documentation.
