Job summary

Veit & Co. is seeking a Superintendent to lead our Demolition & Blasting team based in Rogers, MN or New Berlin, WI. The role requires travel across multiple states and daily coordination with field crews to meet safety, design, budget, and schedule objectives.

You will manage on-site personnel, schedule subcontractors, monitor work quality, and participate in safety meetings. Strong leadership, communication, and planning skills are essential, with 5–10 years of heavy industrial demolition

Qualifications

• Five to ten years’ Heavy Industrial Demolition experience.
• OSHA 30 hour, HAZWOPER certificate, Excavating Safety Training, Blueprint Training, CPR, First Aid.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret policies, reports, plans, specifications, and legal documents.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel; iPad and iPhone.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily site activities to ensure safety, design, budget, and schedule.
• Directly manage lead personnel and site staff; schedule subcontractors and monitor work.
• Conduct daily Job Hazard Awareness meetings, toolbox talks, and safety training.
• Prepare and maintain daily logs, equipment and material schedules, and time cards.
• Travel 25–75% within Midwest region and ensure quality standards across sites.
