Job summary

Ironclad in New York invites a Demo Engineer to own The Forge, Ironclad's internal demo-tooling platform, enabling faster demos and reusable assets. You will design, build, deploy, and operate it end to end with minimal handholding.

You will partner with Solution Engineers, Enterprise Architects, Product and Engineering to keep the platform aligned with GTM needs, incorporate LLM-powered features, and scale the tool for field use through automation and best practices.

Qualifications

• 2–5+ years building and shipping scalable web applications.
• Strong full-stack development skills with JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js.
• Experience with React frontend framework.
• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure (GCP/AWS/Azure).
• Experience with APIs (REST, JSON/HTTP) and webhooks.
• Experience designing async/job-based workflows and auditability.
• Authentication and access control experience (SSO via Okta/Google).
• Experience integrating gen-AI/LLM APIs.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary developer for The Forge, our internal demo-tooling platform.
• Design, build, deploy, and operate it as a production-grade internal product.
• Collaborate with SETS, Product, and Engineering to align with GTM needs.
• Develop backend services and asynchronous build jobs for environment creation.
• Productize AI demo builders and scripts behind a user-friendly interface.
• Own deployments, monitoring, logging, and platform operations.
• Create demo environments and assets for field use.
• Assist Solution Engineers and Enterprise Architects with demos.
• Identify automation opportunities and promote best practices.
