Brookdale is seeking a compassionate caregiver to support residents with dementia care and daily activities in a Spokane community. You will follow individualized service plans, assist with bathing, dressing, meals, and mobility, and promote independence in a safe, respectful environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 3–6 months direct care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of dementia and ability to follow person-centered care plans.
• Ability to communicate in English with residents and team.

Responsibilities

• Provides dementia care including ADLs, engagement, and communication per a resident's service plan.
• Assists with bathing, dressing, grooming, meals, transfers, and mobility.
• Maintains resident records and reports health changes to supervisors.
• Supports daily activities, encourages independence, and documents observations.
• Follows safety procedures and participates in team meetings.
