Job summary

Brookdale Senior Living in Mesa seeks compassionate caregivers to provide dementia care, daily living activities, and engaging programs. You’ll follow person-centered care plans, support independence, and help residents with meals, mobility, and safety while maintaining dignity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 3–6 months related experience preferred.
• Experience in direct care with older adults living with dementia is a plus.
• Knowledge of dementia care and basic health/safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide dementia care including ADLs, meaningful engagement, and person-centered care plans.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility as needed.
• Support residents’ meals, hydration, and nutrition while encouraging independence.
• Document observations and changes in residents’ condition for the supervisor.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful living environment.
• Collaborate with team and participate in daily care discussions.
