Brookdale seeks caring staff to provide dementia-focused care and meaningful engagement for residents. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor health and well-being, and support meal times with attention to nutrition and hydration.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and some relevant experience; knowledge of dementia is essential. This role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and compassionate, person-centered care across shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 3–6 months related experience preferred.
• Knowledge of dementia, particularly Alzheimer's type.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions; communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide dementia care including ADLs, meaningful engagement and person-centered services.
• Assist residents with daily living activities and promote independence.
• Maintain timely resident records and report changes to supervisor.
• Assist with meals and ensure proper nutrition and hydration.
• Follow safety and emergency procedures and support team coordination.
