IDEX Corporation, through PPE Precision Polymer Engineering, is seeking a Demand Planner in Brenham, TX. This role leads the monthly demand planning process, collaborates with commercial, finance, and supply chain teams, and contributes to SIOP governance to optimize inventory and service levels.

You’ll influence forecasting, develop KPIs, and drive improvements in planning processes in a global manufacturing setting, with occasional travel to collaborate across sites.

Qualifications

• Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Economics, or a related field.
• 3+ years in a planning related role.
• Experience with demand planning software such as RapidResponse, SAP, Oracle, or similar.
• Experience with ERP systems and demand planning software.
• Examples of improving and driving the SIOP process.
• Previous experience of managing multiple SKUs/items in a complex supply chain.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools.
• Advanced Excel skills, including experience with pivot tables and data modelling.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis and forecasting techniques.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Proven ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Knowledge of Supply Planning, inventory management principles and supply chain processes.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Understanding of market trends and their impact on demand.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy.

Responsabilités

• Lead the monthly Demand Planning process for an agreed portfolio of products, acting as the bridge between commercial teams and supply chain.
• Support the implementation and development of Demand Planning Software.
• Drive performance using KPIs including forecast accuracy, bias and value add.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to gather input for demand planning.
• Develop and maintain inventory targets to align with demand forecasts.
• Monitor and report on KPIs related to demand planning.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to supply chain disruptions.
• Utilize advanced analytical tools and software for demand forecasting.
• Adjust demand forecasts based on market trends and sales performance.
• Develop strategies for new product introductions and phase-outs.
• Maintain and improve demand planning processes and systems.
• Communicate demand plans and adjustments to stakeholders.
• Conduct root cause analysis for forecast vs actuals.
