Job summary

IDEX is seeking a Demand Planner for our Brenham, Texas facility. This role leads the monthly demand planning process, coordinating with commercial, finance and supply chain teams to shape forecasts and inventories.

The position plays a key part in implementing forecasting software and advancing the SIOP process across PPE. You will analyze data, drive KPI reporting, and support improvements in planning practices while maintaining strong cross-functional relationships to ensure on-time, in-full

Qualifications

3+ years in a planning-related role.
Experience with demand planning software and ERP systems.
Experience with SIOP process improvements.
Managing multiple SKUs/items in a complex supply chain.
Strong analytical skills and data analysis.
Advanced Excel with pivot tables.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Lead the monthly Demand Planning process for an agreed portfolio of products, acting as the bridge between commercial teams, finance, and supply chain.
Support the implementation and development of Demand Planning Software.
Collaborate with sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to gather input for demand planning.
Develop and maintain inventory targets to align with demand forecasts.
Monitor and report on KPIs related to demand planning.
Communicate demand plans and adjustments to relevant stakeholders.
Participate in the development and governance of forecasting best practices and the SIOP process.
