IDEX in Farmington, CT seeks a Materials Planner to translate demand, inventory targets, and production needs into executable replenishment plans that support customer delivery and operational continuity. This role develops and maintains production schedules, releases and manages internal work orders, and coordinates with Buyers on PO requirements.

• 3+ years in materials or production planning in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of MRP concepts including lead times, safety stock, reorder points.
• Experience creating and managing production work orders and PO requirements.
• Proficiency in Excel with filters, pivots, lookups and data analysis.
• Ability to translate constraints into action plans and coordinate across teams.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain daily and weekly production schedules based on demand, capacity, and material availability.
• Translate demand, min/max, safety stock, and MRP signals into internal work orders and PO requirements.
• Release and manage internal work orders and ensure accurate dates, routings, and material needs.
• Coordinate with Buyers to manage open POs, confirmations, promises, and shipments.
• Monitor inventory against safety stock targets and prioritize shortages.
• Identify and resolve constraints impacting schedules, suppliers, and capacity.
