Job summary

Owens & Minor, a global healthcare solutions company, is seeking an experienced Demand Planning professional to lead North America forecasting for the Product & Healthcare Services group.

You'll partner with sales, finance, operations, and procurement to create accurate demand plans, manage KPIs, and support Lean Six Sigma improvements. This role emphasizes collaboration with external customers and data governance to improve cash flow through forecast accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business, or related field; Master’s degree a plus.
• Minimum 7 years in Demand Planning; medical products a plus.
• Ability to influence and align multiple stakeholders.
• Strong presentation and communication skills across levels.
• Experience with external customers and SAP IBP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain demand planning models to improve forecast accuracy.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations to align on forecasts.
• Monitor KPIs (MAPE, WMAPE, forecast bias) and drive improvements.
• Lead Lean Six Sigma initiatives to optimize planning processes.
• Support onboarding of new customers and data Master maintenance.
