Job summary

Owens & Minor is a global healthcare solutions company seeking a Demand Planning professional to execute the PHS unit's demand planning processes. You will collaborate with sales, finance, operations, supply chain, procurement, and marketing to generate accurate demand plans and connect forecasts to the business plan.

The ideal candidate uses strong analytical skills, 7+ years in demand planning, and experience with SAP IBP.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
7+ years in Demand Planning; medical products is a plus.
Experience leading, selling, influencing, and building cross-functional consensus to create one demand plan.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain demand planning models and tools to improve forecast accuracy and reliability across North America.
Monitor parameter tuning and planning object creation in the planning system; maintain master data.
Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations to align on demand forecasts and capture opportunities.
Support onboarding of new customers and verify existing customer plans.
