As a Demand Planner within the Amazon Fresh Grocery team, you will own analytical forecasting and demand planning. The successful candidate will have a passion for analytics, tactical process development, and a willingness to move fast and experiment often. You should feel comfortable with ambiguity, have strong attention to detail, and be motivated by a fast-paced environment. Additionally, you should be able to think big and dive deep into problems.
Strong candidates will be self-starters, highly organized, and possess strong data extraction and analytical capabilities. You should feel comfortable using data to build scalable systems and processes that allow our business to grow. You will be expected to be thoughtful in your pursuit of results and thrive in a high energy environment where tactical and strategic activities are driven in parallel.
A Demand Planner will:
- 3+ years of with Excel experience
- 4+ years of supply chain, inventory management or project management experience
- Bachelor's degree, or 3+ years of professional or military experience
- Knowledge of the principles of statistical inventory control
- Experience with process improvement techniques such as Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma
