Job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Demand Generation Manager based in the United States.

The Demand Generation Manager will lead the strategy, execution, and optimization of multichannel marketing campaigns designed to generate qualified leads, accelerate sales opportunities, and drive measurable pipeline and revenue growth. This role combines strategic planning, campaign execution, lifecycle marketing, and performance analytics in a fast-growing cybersecurity and compliance environment. You will translate complex technical and regulatory topics into compelling, buyer-focused messaging that resonates with organizations navigating demanding security requirements. Working closely with Sales, leadership, subject‑matter experts, and external partners, you will build integrated campaigns that reach decision‑makers across the Defense Industrial Base. You will use data, experimentation, and funnel insights to improve conversion rates, campaign efficiency, and marketing ROI. This is a fully remote opportunity for a proactive, analytical marketer who thrives in a collaborative, evolving environment and takes ownership of measurable business outcomes.

Accountabilities
  • Develop and execute a scalable, full‑funnel demand‑generation strategy aligned with revenue objectives, target audiences, buyer personas, priority industries, and sales goals.
  • Design integrated campaigns across email, paid media, organic social, webinars, virtual and field events, partner marketing, landing pages, content syndication, retargeting, and other relevant channels.
  • Build audience‑specific messaging and content strategies around cybersecurity compliance, CMMC 2.0, NIST SP 800-171, DFARS, controlled unclassified information (CUI), security assessments, remediation, managed services, and secure cloud environments.
  • Translate complex technical and regulatory concepts into clear, commercially relevant messaging focused on risk reduction, contract readiness, operational continuity, and long‑term compliance.
  • Create campaign briefs, coordinate content and creative assets, manage campaign calendars, and ensure programs launch on time and meet quality standards.
  • Develop and optimize nurture sequences and customer journeys that guide prospects from early awareness through solution evaluation, sales engagement, and opportunity progression.
  • Partner with Sales leadership to establish and improve lead scoring, routing, qualification criteria, service‑level expectations, feedback loops, and marketing‑to‑sales handoffs.
  • Segment audiences based on company profile, role, compliance maturity, engagement, intent signals, lifecycle stage, and buying behavior.
  • Develop account‑based marketing programs for strategic accounts, high‑value segments, named‑account lists, and partner‑led opportunities.
  • Run A/B tests across messaging, offers, subject lines, landing pages, calls to action, creative, audiences, and channels to improve campaign performance.
  • Support webinar and event programs through promotion, registration strategy, attendance conversion, follow‑up nurturing, and opportunity acceleration.
  • Own campaign reporting and attribution, tracking engagement, qualified leads, meetings, opportunities, pipeline contribution, revenue influence, cost efficiency, and marketing ROI.
  • Monitor funnel performance, identify conversion bottlenecks, recommend improvements, and use data to guide budget allocation and future campaign priorities.
  • Collaborate with Sales, product, service delivery, customer success, marketing operations, revenue operations, and external agencies to deliver coordinated campaigns and actionable sales enablement.
  • Establish campaign performance benchmarks and reporting standards, sharing insights and recommendations with marketing and revenue leadership.
  • During the first 90 days, build an understanding of the service portfolio, target customers, sales process, existing campaigns, and go‑to‑market priorities; establish reporting and launch or refine priority initiatives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience will also be considered.
  • At least 5 years of progressive experience in B2B demand generation, growth marketing, field marketing, lifecycle marketing, or integrated campaign management.
  • Demonstrated success developing multichannel campaigns that generate measurable pipeline and revenue impact, beyond simply increasing lead volume.
  • Experience marketing complex B2B technology, professional services, cybersecurity, compliance, cloud, IT infrastructure, or solutions for regulated industries.
  • Strong understanding of demand‑generation principles, including audience segmentation, buyer journeys, campaign orchestration, lead scoring, lead nurturing, conversion optimization, and marketing attribution.
  • Experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot/Account Engagement, or comparable systems.
  • Proficiency in marketing analytics, campaign reporting, spreadsheet analysis, and dashboarding tools.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly without sacrificing accuracy or credibility.
  • Strong project‑management, organizational, and prioritization skills, including the ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Ability to collaborate across teams, influence stakeholders without direct authority, and build effective relationships with Sales and technical subject‑matter experts.
  • A practical, test‑and‑learn mindset, with strong analytical judgment, accountability, adaptability, and ownership of results.
  • Customer‑focused approach and an understanding of the challenges organizations face when navigating cybersecurity and compliance requirements.
  • Preferred: Experience with cybersecurity, CMMC, NIST SP 800-171, DFARS, FedRAMP, government contracting, defense technology, or compliance services.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with the Defense Industrial Base, federal contracting, controlled information requirements, or regulated manufacturing and engineering environments.
  • Preferred: Experience marketing managed security services, security assessments, compliance consulting, cloud security, or managed IT services.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with account‑based marketing platforms, intent‑data providers, webinar platforms, paid media platforms, and sales‑engagement tools.
  • Preferred: Experience in a high‑growth, private‑equity‑backed, consulting, managed‑services, or B2B technology environment.
  • Preferred: Working knowledge of SEO, paid search, LinkedIn advertising, retargeting, content syndication, and conversion‑rate optimization.
  • Preferred: Experience managing external agencies, freelancers, vendors, or marketing technology partners.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen residing in the continental United States.
  • Must be comfortable with a fully remote work arrangement and limited travel for industry events and offsite meetings.
Benefits
  • Salary range: $90,000–$125,000 USD.
  • Fully remote work within the continental United States.
  • Limited travel requirements, primarily for industry events and offsite meetings.
  • Opportunity to contribute to demand‑generation strategy and measurable revenue growth within a rapidly expanding cybersecurity and compliance environment.
