Job summary

Summit Electric Supply, part of the Sonepar group, seeks a Warehouse/Delivery associate to fulfill customer orders, prepare shipments, and deliver materials to job sites. You will drive safely, check orders, and interact with customers to ensure satisfaction.

This entry-level role offers exposure to warehouse operations, product knowledge, and opportunities for growth within the Summit network and the Sonepar family.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Excellent driving record.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Time management with the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, oral and written.
• Flexibility to adapt to change.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean vehicle, daily driver logs and weekly vehicle inspection reports.
• Pull customer tickets to fulfill orders.
• Load and unload Summit trucks.
• Safely deliver products to customer locations.
• Provide exceptional service to all customers.
• Ability to use iPad to review orders and collect signatures.
• Report all delivery issues and concerns.
• Prepare orders for shipment to customers.
• Receive and stock products daily to replenish inventory.
• Understand products, capabilities and warranties.
• Assist sales associates in fulfilling customer orders when necessary.
• Ensure warehouse and outdoor areas are neat and clean.
• Maintain safe practices and uphold Summit’s safety commitments.
