Job summary

Summit Electric Supply, part of the Sonepar family, is seeking Warehouse/Delivery associates in Texas to join our teams and support daily customer needs. You will pull orders, prepare them for delivery, and deliver materials to job sites, while representing Summit professionally at all times.

As an entry level role, you will learn product knowledge, safety practices, and warehouse operations, with opportunities to grow within Summit and the Sonepar network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent driving record.
• Time management - strong ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, oral and written.
• Flexibility - ability to effectively adapt to change.
• Strong customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean vehicle, daily driver logs and weekly vehicle inspection reports.
• Pull customer tickets to fulfill orders.
• Load and unload Summit trucks.
• Safely deliver products to customer locations.
• Provide exceptional service to all customers.
• Ability to use iPad to review orders and collect signatures.
• Report all delivery issues and concerns.
• Prepare orders for shipment to customers.
• Receive and stock products on a daily basis to replenish inventory.
• Understand products and their capabilities and warranties.
• Assist sales associates in fulfilling customer orders when necessary.
• Ensure warehouse and respective outside areas are neat and clean at all times.
• Maintaining safe practices and proactively upholds Summit's commitment to a safe workplace.
