Job summary

Summit Electric Supply is seeking a Warehouse/Delivery associate to pull, pack and deliver customer orders to job sites. You’ll work with the sales team to ensure accuracy and complete delivery documentation while maintaining safety and efficiency.

You will join an entry-level path that teaches product knowledge, safety practices and industry best practices, with opportunities for growth within Summit and the Sonepar group.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
• Time management with ability to organize multiple priorities.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and workloads.
• Customer service orientation to help internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean vehicle, daily driver logs and weekly vehicle inspection.
• Pull customer tickets to fulfill orders.
• Load and unload Summit trucks.
• Safely deliver products to customer locations.
• Provide exceptional service to all customers.
• Review orders on iPad and collect signatures.
• Report delivery issues and concerns.
• Prepare orders for shipment to customers.
• Receive and stock products daily to replenish inventory.
• Understand products, capacities and warranties.
• Assist sales in fulfilling customer orders when needed.
• Keep warehouse and outside areas neat and clean.
