Job summary

Amazon Logistics Sr. Station Leader in the Dallas area oversees budget, people development and operations for a Delivery Station (DS).

You will lead a team of Operations, Area and Shift Managers, coach and mentor staff, and drive safety, quality, and customer experience at a 24/7 DS. This role demands building leadership bench strength, delivering performance against plans, managing DSP relationships, and partnering with Finance, HR, and Engineering to secure resources for initiatives and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 7+ years direct management experience in logistics, fulfillment, or distribution.
• Track record of delivering performance and financial results under pressure.
• Experience with performance metrics, process improvement and lean techniques.
• Experience with full lifecycle staffing: interviewing, hiring, performance management, promotions, terminations.
• Strong analytical capability and data-driven problem solving.
• Excellent communication skills in local language and English.
• Experience managing third party resources and contingent workforce.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safety, quality, performance, customer experience and people development for all delivery station operations.
• Drive vision and lean initiatives to meet and exceed business plans.
• Set expectations for Operations, Area and Shift Managers and hold leaders accountable.
• Manage 24/7 delivery station operations and relationships with DSPs.
• Present operational metrics to senior leadership and build leadership bench strength.
• Develop talent plans including acquisition, performance management and development.
