Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Sr. Station Leader for a delivery station in Texas. You will oversee all delivery-station operations, safety, quality, and customer experience while leading a team of Operations, Area and Shift Managers.

You will drive lean initiatives, manage DSP relationships, and build leadership bench strength to meet the business plan. The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of direct management experience in logistics or related fields, with a strong focus on performance,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• 7+ years’ direct management experience in logistics or related field.
• Demonstrated track record of delivering performance and financial results under pressure.
• Experience with performance metrics, process improvement and lean techniques.
• Experience with full lifecycle staffing including interviewing and performance management.
• Strong analytical and communication skills (English and local language).
• Experience managing third-party resources and contingent workforce.

Responsibilities

• Own safety, quality, performance, customer experience and people development for all delivery-station operations.
• Lead vision and quality initiatives; drive lean projects to meet/exceed the business plan.
• Identify and close performance gaps; set clear expectations for Ops, Area and Shift Managers.
• Manage 24/7 delivery station operations and relationships with DSPs.
• Present operational metrics to senior leadership.
• Develop and implement a talent plan: acquisition, performance, development, succession and engagement.
• Foster culture and engagement across the delivery station teams.
• Share best practices across departments and the network.
• Coordinate with Transport, DSP Management, Finance, LP, IT, HR, ACES and Engineering for resources.
