Job summary

JPMorganChase & Co. is seeking a Delivery SRE leader to ensure security applications are delivered with strong SDLC discipline and measurable reliability.

The role partners with Product Owners and engineering leadership to bake SRE requirements into design and build phases, govern operational readiness, and ensure releases meet SLOs and production readiness. You will define quality gates, establish SLOs/SLIs, and lead incident response and resilience improvements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years supporting critical security-focused applications in large-scale environments.
• Experience with monitoring/logging tools (e.g., Splunk, AppDynamics) and dashboard technologies.
• Strong grasp of SDLC, secure development, DevOps/CI/CD tooling; ability to drive continuous improvement with root-cause analysis and auto-remediation.
• Effective under pressure with strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Global collaboration with flexible engagement during incidents outside standard hours.
• Experience implementing and managing SLOs/SLIs, error budgets, and post-incident reviews for distributed systems.
• Deep expertise in public cloud platforms (AWS or equivalent) and infrastructure automation (CloudFormation, Terraform).

Responsibilities

• Define and enforce quality gates across requirements, design, secure coding, testing, release and monitoring.
• Establish and manage SLOs/SLIs and ensure integration into roadmaps and delivery plans.
• Lead operational readiness reviews and triage risks with root-cause analysis and auto-remediation.
• Maintain logging, alerting and monitoring platforms; govern CI/CD controls for security and reliability.
• Lead and participate in incident response and post-incident resilience improvements.
• Oversee capacity planning and resilience for large-scale distributed systems; collaborate on Cloud best practices.
