Job summary

Databricks Inc. is seeking a Delivery Solutions Architect Manager for the Emerging Enterprise segment. You will build and lead a team of DSAs to guide EE customers from idea to production on the Databricks Platform, accelerating onboarding and ensuring measurable business value.

You will partner with Sales, Solutions Architecture, Support, and Product Engineering to drive adoption and ROI, while maintaining technical excellence and a strong executive presence. Travel up to 30% may be required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in customer-facing technical roles focused on Data and AI, including 3+ years leading technical teams.
• Experience with cloud-based Lakehouse architectures and migrations to production environments.
• Proven track record in accelerating workloads to production on cloud-native platforms.
• Ability to guide complex architectural discussions for distributed data systems.
• Hands-on SQL and one OO language (Python/SQL/Scala); experience with code reviews and architecture design sessions.
• Expertise in Analytics, Data Warehousing, ETL, Streaming, and ML/AI productionization.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP is a strong plus.
• Strong escalation management, forecasting usage growth, and customer success program operations.
• Excellent communication and executive presence with technical leadership and C-level stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in CS/Engineering.
• Willingness to travel up to 30%.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a high-performing DSA team delivering production-ready workloads for EE customers.
• Accelerate path to production by reducing onboarding friction and blockers.
• Maintain technical excellence with Databricks and broader Data & AI ecosystem knowledge.
• Collaborate with Sales, Solutions Architects, Support, and Engineering to drive customer ROI.
• Establish tracking, forecasting, and communication mechanisms for workload progress and health.
• Serve as technical sponsor for select EE accounts and shape success strategies at scale.
• Drive initiatives to improve DSA consistency, scalability, and innovation.
