Job summary

SRS Distribution Inc. Gwynn Oak, MD is seeking a Delivery Helper to load, locate job sites, back and prepare the site, and maintain the truck and equipment for the next day.

This role requires strict OSHA/DOT compliance, performing pre-trip inspections, safely unloading products, securing cargo, and navigating routes to job sites.

Must be able to read, write, communicate clearly, and lift up to 75 lbs; the position offers benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and more.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and communicate information accurately.
• Stamina to lift at least 75 lbs. to carry materials such as drywall materials and joint compound.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with company, state and federal guidelines, OSHA and DOT for safety of all personnel.
• Perform pre-trip inspections of equipment, paperwork and loaded product to ensure order accuracy.
• Safely unload product and deliver to the designated area as directed by the customer.
• Secure mud, equipment, metal, and pallets on the truck.
• Navigate routes to the job site.
