Job summary

SRS Distribution Inc. in Beltsville, MD is seeking a Delivery Helper to load materials, locate job sites, backhaul, prepare and restore the work site, and ready the truck for the next day. The role requires following OSHA/DOT safety guidelines and performing thorough pre-trip inspections.

You will unload to designated areas and secure loads on the truck. Strong reading, writing and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and work outdoors.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and communicate information accurately.
• Stamina to lift at least 75 lbs. to carry materials such as drywall materials and joint compound.

Responsibilities

• Compliance with OSHA and DOT safety guidelines for personnel.
• Perform pre-trip inspections of equipment, paperwork and loaded product.
• Safely unload product and deliver to the assigned area as directed by the customer.
• Secure mud, equipment, metal, and pallet on truck.
