Job summary

SRS Distribution Inc. in Maryland is hiring a Delivery Helper to load, locate job sites, back in, prepare the truck for the next day, and maintain the vehicle and equipment. You will follow OSHA and DOT safety guidelines, perform pre-trip inspections, safely unload materials, and deliver to designated areas, often lifting up to 75 lbs.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and communicate information accurately.
• Stamina to lift at least 75 lbs to carry materials such as drywall materials and joint compound.

Responsibilities

• Load, locate job sites, back in, prepare and restore the job site, and maintain the truck and equipment.
• Comply with OSHA/DOT safety guidelines and perform pre-trip inspections of equipment, paperwork and loaded product.
• Safely unload product and deliver to assigned area as directed by the customer; secure loads on the truck.
• Navigate routes to the job site and manage materials on site as required.
