Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; 3+ years in a related area; strong communication and analytical skills.
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient PC skills with MS Office and other programs; familiarity with scheduling/ops software.
• Proven decision-making and problem-solving abilities with good diplomatic skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist daily management of the delivery operations staff.
• Monitor delivery fleet performance using MobileCast and Roadnet.
• Participate in hiring, transfers, and disciplinary actions as needed.
• Maintain driver attendance records, sick days, and vacation tracking.
• Coach drivers on safe driving, lifting techniques, and delivery processes; conduct ride-alongs.
• Oversee payroll records and verify driver invoices and paperwork.
• Ensure DOT compliance and drug screening requirements are met.
• Collaborate with sales, warehouse, delivery, and customer service teams.
• Support worker's compensation, incentive, and safety programs.
