Job summary

Beverage South Distributors is seeking a Delivery Supervisor to oversee safe delivery vehicles and efficient product delivery across the territory. You will work with sales, drivers, and merchandisers to ensure superior customer service and retail execution, while enforcing company standards and DOT compliance.

The role requires CDL-A, 1-3 years of management experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to train and lead drivers in displays, rotation, and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of management experience preferred in delivery/ similar environment.
• Class-A commercial driver’s license and safe driving record required.
• Knowledgeable about trucks and truck maintenance.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
• Good oral communication and ability to develop employee relations.
• Physically capable of frequent lifting, bending, and turning.

Responsibilities

• Analyze scheduled routing with Delivery Manager to ensure timely routes without compromising rotation, service or quality.
• Coordinate with Delivery Manager to maintain adequate qualified driver pool and CDL licensing readiness.
• Educate drivers on proper delivery methods, product rotation, shelving, backroom organization, and displays.
• Train drivers to build product displays and marketing at retail to meet Beverage South standards.
• Train drivers for safe and courteous vehicle operation and proper maintenance reporting.
• Ensure drivers maintain professional appearance and wear company uniform.
• Communicate with sales representatives and merchandisers to support internal execution and superior customer service.
• Manage end-of-day documentation, weigh loads, and balance cash/monies; ensure compliance with policies.
• Comply with state/local/federal laws for sale and distribution of alcohol; follow Employee Handbook.
