Job summary

Sysco Northeast RDC in Oxnard, CA is seeking an Operations Leader for Delivery, overseeing supervisors, routing staff and daily delivery activities.

You will manage budgets, ensure safety and compliance with DOT/OSHA, and drive KPI targets while supporting Sales and Customer service. The role requires strong people leadership, problem solving and computer skills, with flexibility for nontraditional hours.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; 1–3 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent.
Two or four year college degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management or similar major preferred.
Valid Class A CDL preferred; Defensive driving program completion encouraged; HazMat and Doubles certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Oversee delivery supervisors, routing staff and associates daily and ensure safety.
Ensure adherence to SOPs, planned routes, and safe, efficient customer service.
Monitor regulatory compliance with DOT/OSHA and maintain accurate electronic logs.
Manage labor hours, travel, fuel and supplies within budget and schedule shifts as needed.
Coordinate use of assets and repairs to support the delivery department and routes.
Track KPI performance and customer satisfaction; pursue efficiency and cost reductions.
