Job summary

Reddy Ice is seeking a Delivery Supervisor to lead, train, and review all delivery personnel, including drivers, dock clerks, and forklift operators, to ensure safe, efficient routes and on-time product movement.

This role applies lean principles and value stream thinking to optimize routing, monitor driver performance, and maintain safety logs (HOS, DVIRs) while resolving customer delivery issues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience supervising professional drivers.
• Valid CDL Class A license and acceptable MVR.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, supervise, coach, and review delivery personnel (drivers, forklift drivers, dock clerks).
• Establish efficient routing and scheduling to ensure coverage and productive operations.
• Maintain safety logs (HOS, DVIRs) and driver qualification documents; investigate accidents.
• Resolve delivery issues and coordinate with customers and management.
• Monitor route reports to develop cost-effective routes and inventory control.
