Qualifications

• Must be able to read and interpret English safety rules and procedures.
• Ability to work in a safety-conscious environment with alertness.
• Strong attention to detail for quality and records.
• Demonstrated leadership when supervising in supervisor's absence.
• Able to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Experience operating a forklift in a warehouse setting.

Responsibilities

• Monitor equipment daily and report anomalies.
• Maintain and repair bagging equipment as needed.
• Assist Plant Engineer as required.
• Run preventative maintenance programs for processing equipment.
• Monitor product quantity and quality and report issues.
• Maintain a safe work area and address hazards.
• Keep daily production and cleaning records.
• Coordinate production staff scheduling with Plant Engineer.
• Operate forklift as primary driver.
• Accept other duties assigned by management.
• Uphold Code of Business Ethics and safety standards.
• Follow and enforce high safety standards.
