Job summary

Community Servings is seeking an Assistant Manager of Delivery Operations in Jamaica Plain, MA to support daily meal delivery execution, ensure safety and accuracy, and supervise delivery staff and fleet readiness.

The role requires hands-on leadership in logistics, dispatch, and transportation operations, with experience in fleet management, routing, GPS, and delivery software; training staff and promoting high service levels are essential.

Qualifications

Knowledge of delivery operations, logistics, dispatching, and route planning.
Experience with fleet management, GPS, routing, telematics, or dispatch software.
Ability to train and support staff in the use of technology and operational systems.
Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and fleet safety practices.

Responsibilities

Assist in directing daily delivery operations to ensure timely and accurate meal distribution.
Provide day-to-day support to drivers and dispatch personnel, including staffing coordination.
Train and supervise delivery staff; reinforce safety and service standards.
