Job summary

Core & Main is seeking a Delivery Operations Leader to oversee the physical movement of shipments at the distribution center. You will direct and develop the delivery driver team, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and optimize routes for cost and service.

You will monitor vehicle maintenance, perform inspections, and coach drivers on performance. The role requires experience in dispatch, fleet management, and DOT/HazMat guidelines to keep operations efficient and compliant.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in a related discipline; typically 5+ years in a related field.
• Experience with dispatch, fleet maintenance, and route management.
• Knowledge of DOT and HazMat compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead, direct and train the delivery driver team.
• Ensure safety, hazmat and DOT compliance.
• Manage routes for cost-efficient delivery operations.
• Oversee vehicle inspections and maintain records.
• Coach drivers and conduct on-route evaluations.
