Job summary

HD Supply is seeking a transportation team member to facilitate load management and dispatch operations at our Orlando facility. The role trains and supports drivers on policies and procedures, while ensuring safe operation of company or rental vehicles and compliant MVRs.

Responsibilities include coordinating routes, conducting inspections, and delivering orders within the service area with exceptional customer service. Strong background in truck dispatch and wholesale distribution is valued.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering merchandise with a box truck or similar vehicle.
• 3+ years operating material handling equipment.
• No more than 2 minor accidents in 3 years.
• No more than 2 moving violations in 3 years.
• Wholesale distribution experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate loading and dispatching of driver routes.
• Oversee pre- and post-trip inspections per DOT and internal policy.
• Plan daily routes for drivers.
• Serve as primary contact for driver-related issues.
• Coach drivers on policies and provide performance feedback.
• Review order manifests for accuracy.
• Deliver customer orders within service area with professional service.
• Provide management with customer service and sales feedback.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
